They didn't have English Heritage or family discount on a Bank Holiday, and it wasn't clear from the website, so we ended up paying twice more than what we expected. It's a pity because now we wouldn't go on a Bank holiday...

Lullingstone Castle is one of Englands oldest family estates, dating back to the time of Domesday. The World Garden combines plant heritage with cutting-edge horticulture. Set within 120 acres of beautiful Kent Countryside, Lullingstone Castle is one of Englands oldest family estates, dating back to the time of Domesday. The present Manor House and Gatehouse dating from 1497 have been home to the Hart Dyke family ever since.

We had an excellent walk, The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The world gardens are worth a trip if you are into plans and trees from around the world. I enjoyed a good coffee and a cake, unfortunately the house was closed but that did not detract from the visit. Good parking. Dog and family friendly. Good place to stop for a tea.
