Good cup of coffee and a scone afterwards. Not a wide range of cakes to choose from but the scones were tasty.
Didn't go on the house as we had the dogs with us so that'll be for a future visit.
Walled garden is interesting and will be returning to see that later in the summer.

True to National Trust form, the scones were superb. What a combination rhubarb and rosemary makes.
Nice to have 2.5 cups of tea from the pot. Our experience has been of some other NT tea-rooms being more stingy.
The walk around the pond was a highlight as it was teeming with bird-life, with flottilas of goslings (not sure that's the correct collective noun, but it ought to be) and nesting swans and coots sat in public view.
