My son was excited to be having his first Junior morning session! hoping to learn new skills of paddle boarding and kayaking as advertised. You can imagine his, and mine, disappointment when for the first hour and a half the kids were body-boarding only. When I complained I was begrudgingly offered a refund which has still not materialised 4 weeks later! Thankfully, the owner did get in touch (after reading this review I guess) and refunded my 30. Hence the edition I have made.

Huge length of beach to explore, walk along the tide's edge, waters ports of all kinds e.g. paddle boarding, kayaking, exe estuary path which starts at the brain station, indoor market, multiple cafes and small shops etc. Great day out for family or adventurers. 20 min by train from exeter central

Good place to learn windsurfing, paddle boarding and kayaking. You can have lessons in any of these plus hire of the equipment needed. You can also do group booking and there are school programmes. A two hour paddle boarding lesson is great fun and Exmouth is the perfect place to try this.
