Lovely walks and they allow dogs on leads. If you walk up past the children's playpark to the long Heritage trail walk it takes you on the boundary line which is wooded and quiet. We saw a herd of deer and a stoat lots of birds and squirrels. They offer a full years pass for a extra 6.00 on top of the day entry, which is excellent value. We go just to walk the dog in winter while it is so quiet. In the summer it is busy and the kiddies can go on the train which runs around the park stopping in different locations. It's lovely to take a picnic and sit by the lake just off the short Heritage trail. They have a restaurant and a small play area for little ones with little ride on things. The carpark is free and they offer disabled parking.
