I am so delighted that I happened upon this wonderful practice. Took my new driving/ distance glasses out for a test drive tonight. All those starbursts and halos I had been experiencing and which prevented me from night driving were almost completely gone! Wow! Today I popped in because I was having a slight problem, immediately fixed. They go above and beyond! They are also among the best equipped in the country and just round the corner, now I live in Exmouth. Highly recommend.

Keval and his team took great care to make my 5 year old feel at ease at his first eye test, and they made special arrangements for him to be seen at the earliest available opportunity. Staff were kind, explained everything fully and we felt as though we were given plenty of time. The appointment system that's currently in place (one customer at a time) meant we felt safe. I would definitely recommend McAusland to other families.

Having only previously been to 'corporate' opticians, I decided to try a local independent this time, and I am so happy that I went to McAuslands. The optician - Keval - was very friendly, thorough, and explained everything well. Having worn glasses for thirty odd years I have always hated choosing glasses, however this was a completely different experience. Instead of being abandoned to look at hundreds of frames, Keval chose a good selection of frames he thought would suit me, which was so helpful, and actually I ended up trying on frames I would not have considered, and ended up loving frames that I would not have expected to suit me. It's the first time I have actually been excited to be collecting new specs! I also was switching to a varifocal type lense and was concerned but within a minute of putting them on they were perfect and they have made such a difference to me. The lovely reception ladies were very helpful and friendly on the phone and in person. I would definitely highly recommend this lovely practice.
