Rose Lodge Care Home

My mother spent the final 18 months of her life at Rose Lodge. The staff are wonderful and residents are cared for with compassion, empathy, skill and love. The fees may appear high but the level of care is extremely high and residents have nothing extra to pay at all. Hairdressing, nail and foot care, laundry, toiletries, absolutely everything is included in the monthly fees. There is always something going on for residents who want to be active and to join in with quieter pastimes for those that prefer. Visitors of any age are welcomed, refreshments provided and caring support provided for family members visiting loved ones at the end of life. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff - my mother was never left alone during her final illness. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rose Lodge to anybody seeking specialist dementia care for a loved one.

Owners have many years of experience in residential care and are quite innovative in terms of patient care. I would highly recommend.

My dad has recently has had to leave rose lodge because of financing from the government due to a massive rent increase of 325 per a week. The staff have done a good job of looking after my dad but In my opinion the owners are only in the industry for money and not the care. I would not recommend them to anyone
