Hawkridge Bird of Prey Centre

Had the pleasure of meeting rich and Sharon today, their birds are kept well and are truly beautiful, they really know their stuff. My son is autistic and has a high interest in birds, Richard and Sharon + staff really made him feel welcome today and had lots of patience, Such a interesting magical experience, definitely recommend watching a bird display it's amazing how trained they. I can not express my gratitude deeply enough as the team at Hawkridge created the most magical experience for my son's birthday. Truly was incredible to get up close and personal to an array of falcons, hawks and owls. My son had two volunteers dedicated to his experience, one who brought the birds to him and another who shared many wonderful insights and humorous stories. The birds were all delightful, beautifully cared for by all the team and the volunteers work with such deep passion. I had a half day experience on 17th September 2022 and throughly enjoyed it. Sharon and Simon where friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Getting up close, holding and feeding the birds was an amazing experience and highly recommended. I felt safe and relaxed straight away and all the birds were calm and friendly especially when you are the one with the food! The big owl Echo was my favourite and can't wait to go back again!
