The latest CQC report for this terrible place confirms everything we complained about and everything the management lied about when we did complain. Arrogantly ran by people who treat dementia residents as cash flow in beds - it needs closing down. Google this place and click on the carehome.co.uk site to read the CQC Report - and avoid at all costs - oh and by the way - a previous poster was correct / as soon as the Google review score drops - they just arrange fake reviews to bring it back up again. NEVER TRUST THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT, pleasant and welcoming at first, until they have the funding for your loved ones, then they turn.

My uncle was moved into Platinum Nursing Care after a stay in hospital. I had never heard of this care home before and was on edge about it. I was proved very wrong and my uncle is really happy and content, it was his birthday on Sunday and we were allowed to see him at a distance. I have not seen him look so well and happy in a very long time, the nurse that sat with him all the time whilst we were there was brilliant with my uncle and ourselves. It really has put our minds at rest knowing he is being so well looked after now. I would fully recommend Platinum Nursing Care.

Platinum have been excellent in providing care for my Mum. I can't rate them high enough. Mum was admitted in July in a very poorly way, having been on end of life care at home during the first three months of the Covid pandemic. The staff have worked brilliantly with her to regain some independence. From being bedbound and catheterised she is now mobile with her frame and using the bathroom Her weight has increased and is now eating and drinking normally I would throughly recommend the home to anyone looking for care for their loved one. ..

My mum was admitted to Platinum Nursing Care in October 2020 following a stay in hospital. She became a permanent resident in December 2020. Mum has a number of health issues resulting from a major stroke in 2017. We were apprehensive of mum going into a home, particularly one which we were unfamiliar with and had not got a chance to visit beforehand due to Covid restrictions. We need not have worried, though. Before mum was admitted to Platinum, she was very weak, soiling the bed, prone to challenging behaviour and eating next to nothing. Now she is getting the specialist care that she so needed and is a different person, in a good way, That is thanks to to the wonderful care she is receives from the staff at Platinum. She has three meals a day and snacks, has daily chats with the staff, has her toilet needs met with dignity and has her rosy cheeks and sense of humour back. Making a decision for a frail parent to permanently move into a nursing/care home is a difficult one for any family. But, with the care they have provided my mum over the past 6 months, I would have no hesitation in recommending Platinum to anyone considering a nursing home for their parent.
