TOR Water

We are a large user of water in Dawlish Warren, Devon.It is great to see some competition in the water market at last and we are proud to become a customer of this Exeter based company which employs local people. With Tor Water you get the best of both worlds, South West Water are still responsible for supplying the water and sewerage services as the wholesaler but with Tor Water billing us and providing great customer service at a lower cost. It would be great to see lots of local businesses support Tor water in its early years to allow it to get off the ground and to give the South West a real choice in were to buy its water services. Tor Water managed our switch in a very professional manner. They did everything for us which took the hassle out of the switch. Customer service is excellent, even travelling to our property when we had a leak.

As with any new entrant into a very competitive market place there will be teething problems - what Tor water have created is an opportunity for local businesses to get involved and back what will be a major water retailer in the years to come whilst being customer centric - we have recently used Tor to review the water spend at a few of clients Care Homes and i'm more than happy to say that it's refreshing for a business to be upfront and honest with how the process works along with saving money. Don't do it! Left South West Water to give this company our custom, hoping to save money. They are the most unprofessional outfit you could hope to come across, they demanded 386 off us upfront which they keep for a year because they could not get a decent deal from their supplier! Add to that the fact that they will now "fine" us a 1 a day if we do not pay their bill on the day we receive it, yes, lovely people. Stay where you are, its not worth the hassle.
