I purchased a van from Devon car services, the service was great and the van ideal. 8 months later there was an issue, they did not walk away nor fail to answer my calls, instead they admitted to their (small) mistake and recompensed me for it. Would I recommend them? YES without fail, they have integrity. Who expected that from a used car dealer?!

I bought a BMW320d from Devon car services and I have to say that Jock,Ang, and Dave were all really nice people to deal with. They are an honest company with an emphasis on politeness and talk to us if you have a problem attitude. I would recommend them as a dealership and garage, the mechanics are really nice guys.

Purchased a car from here and have had nothing but problems since buying. First a major oil leak, then the body control module and then ECU. Contacted about the oil leak and never got a reply. Would not recommend purchasing from them.

Would award Zero stars or less if that option was available. Last summer, I took my car to Devon Car Services to replace a headlight bulb that wasn't working. A mechanic replaced the bulb but didn't refit the black plastic cover, saying that it wasn't needed. Didn't think to query this until I started getting condensation problems with the same headlight and, yes, you've guessed it, all because the headlight cover was removed. Called Devon Car Services who will take no responsibility for it, saying their mechanics are self-employed. The mechanics will not respond to messages on the numbers that Devon Car Services gave me for them. I have now been quoted 164.60 by another garage to replace the headlight unit because there's so much condensation in it, the car will fail its MOT. Beware Devon Car Services, and Dane or Shane, their self-employed mechanics - none of you have helped the reputation of your trade.
