Exeter Consortium was the BEST decision I made for my career! My first interaction with the team gave me a clear insight into the course. I found myself applying without any hesitation. I was offered an interview which was extremely well organised and supportive throughout. I instantly wanted to be a trainee! I was lucky enough to be offered a position on the course. Throughout the course the team were so supportive, kind and loving. There is a real feeling of being part of the Exeter Consortium family. The learning is organised to be delivered at the most beneficial point during your training. You are given endless opportunities to ask questions, support with planning and guidance in all aspects. Exeter Consortium have a great relationship with Bath Spa University and this makes for simple and thorough support around assignments. I found being a Exeter Consortium student made my application for jobs stronger. Exeter Consortium students are recognised as strong applicants for their diverse range of training and high quality teaching strategies which are practised by being in the classroom most of the time during the training.

Amazing team ! And they are so supportive academically and personally. Everything is really accessible and when needing help and guidance everyone is more than happy to help and go that extra mile. Could not recommend a better teacher training program

Exeter consortium is the best teacher training provider within the south west. There has constantly been excellent provision and pastoral care throughout the board. As a trainee, I feel supported with everything that I do. The fact that you start placement right from the very start of the academic year means you gain so much more valuable experience than you would from a PGCE, this means you rarely feel lost, you are teaching more frequently and understand the dynamics of the school far better. Not to mention, employers really take note of this! The GPS sessions are incredibly useful, you pick up so many interesting and helpful techniques to use into your own practise. You also strive from the support and friendships you make on the cohort as well, with it being a smaller size, you get to know everyone and your confidence shines through. Although teacher training can be difficult, you never feel alone

The best teacher training provider in the south west! They are so incredibly supportive. They go above and beyond to make sure you're okay and solve any issues that crop up. Your placement begins straight away meaning you are in the classroom as an adult for the children on their first day. This allowed me to build great relationships with the children at the very beginning. The GPS sessions are always interactive and informative, you always leave with great ideas to use in your placement. Could not recommend enough! I'm incredibly grateful to be on such an amazing course with such supportive providers.
