I have never applied for a job through an agency before and was a bit sceptical about what to expect, but very pleasantly surprised. Helen called me on receipt of my application to give more info about the job and employer and to answer any questions. She kept in regular contact throughout the process, checking if I needed any help or support and checked in again after the interview and once I had started work. I even got sent a good luck card which was so thoughtful. I would definitely recommend Baker Snell, they are a professional company but with a personal touch that makes all the difference.

I applied for a life and health insurance job role through Baker Snell recruitment on the 21st April 2021. I received a phone call from Claire Snell the following day to discuss the role in more depth, and to see if I would be a good fit for the insurance company. I had an interview set up two days after I initially applied for the job role. Claire sent through a copy of the job role specifications and a candidate interview preparation guide to help me prepare for my interview with the life and health insurance company. A few hours before my interview, Claire set up a zoom meeting with me to discuss how the video system works and to make sure that I was ready for my interview. By the 27th April 2021, Claire confirmed that I had been offered the job role. I was sent a good luck card from Baker Snell during my first week of my new job, which I think is a nice personal touch. Claire continues to keep in contact with me to make sure that I have settled into my new job role okay, and regularly offers for me to contact her if I need any further support. I cannot praise this company enough!
