I wanted something different to the usual humdrum pub grub and I most certainly found it!! I plumped for a Mackerel salad nicoise and it was magnificent, freshly cooked mackerel fillet eggs, green beans, olives, cherry tomatoes and baby pea shoots on a bed of crisp little gem lettuce with a tangy anchovy sauce. every thing on the plate had been beautifully seasoned....it was an absolute delight washed down with a well kept pint of St Austell proper job. lovely outdoor seating area and great service too. wouldn't hesitate to reccomended

Wonderful pub on the water. Elegant pub chic with a nice balance of old and new. Elevated pub menu but expensive. However the portions dont disappoint. We had the tikka masala which was beautiful and well presented. Highly recommend but loses a star for the childrens menu which we found flat and unimaginative.
