The Buckerell

My Husband and I booked this Hotel for one night as we had some business to get done in Exeter. We called and verified the pricing,also informed them that we had an 8 month old, we were told that we would have to pay 63 a night,that included our son as well. They offered a babycot for us as well, but we did not need it. When we arrived, check in was fast and really easy, they took our payment, gave us our room card. The rooms were really nice, well made beds and cleaned. A few little things could have been better but nothing that would spoil your stay. It was a beautiful night for my family and I, check out was easy and simple. Wished us a great day. They do offer onsite parking as well, which was really convenient for us. They do have breakfast,lunch and Dinner but we didnt have any as we were rushing most of the time and didnt have time. Would definitely like to book again, if in the area.

Let us down by cancelling our room at the last minute as we were the last guests to check in on the day ruining our day and the wedding we were supposed to be attending. When I asked about either compensating us or helping us to find somewhere else to stay they were unhelpful and rude.

Booked this room via 3rd party website. Upon arrival I was told that it was closed for renovations. 3rd party telling me that I might not get my payment back because it is completely up to the hotels discretion. Unable to contact hotel, and bad communication on their part for not informing others that they are closed. Making me unable to get my money back
