Outstanding Customer Service & remarkable cost saving. I called into the Spec Tech, purely on the off chance, to see if the frames on my aging, varifocal glasses could be repaired, after an independent optician had told me they were not repairable The shop manager, Martyn, told me he could repair them. He then mended them whilst I waited in the shop. I was charged a very reasonable 20. He had done an expert, professional job on them in less than fifteen minutes. I was so pleased, I asked for a quote for some new varifocal glasses. He quoted me a price less than half the figure I had been quoted by a High Street Optician. Without hesitation, I accepted his quote, and two weeks later (last Monday), I collected them, and my new varifocals are everything that were promised. The customer service I experienced from Martyn, who runs the shop, and whose personable manner matches his technical skills, could only be described as outstanding. I recommend.

15 per arm (2 x spring hinges), return postage is not free and "fixed in one day" as stated on the website is nonsense. I called and sent text messages daily until eventually I pinned the owner down to finding my glasses and getting him to commit to fixing them. He told me 35 on the phone, but when I got the receipt he'd charged me 38. Repair is of good quality though, so for that I added a star. Please sort your business out and update your website with correct, non-false information.

My Oakley's arm fell off while in Exeter. Was directed to Spec Tech by Vision Express (who could not repair them). Spec Tech fixed them within 40 mins. Excellent service. Would highly recommend.

Having knelt on my wife's glasses and broken both hinges these guys were life savers. Great repair, in a reasonable time frame, pun intended, so thank you very much.
