Furniture Village Exeter

Was looking for a sofa bed and after going to ikea and others this was last place we looked wish we went here first . Alex was really helpful there, and not at all pushy a great salesman would recommend this store.

You wonder how this company is allowed to carry on trading! Ordered wardrobe in November as my forever home was being renovated, delivery the end of Feb was perfect. Phoned to arrange the delivery only to be told it will be delayed until April. Nobody had contacted us re the delay! we could of cancelled, I'm guessing that's why they don't communicate because there would be too many refunds!!I' would think the sales team are told to be economical with the truth as when we asked for the contact number of the Logistic Company we were told they don't have it, we knew that was nonsense as the Logistic company were supposed to deliver yesterday between 8-8 what a surprise they didn't turn up and would not answer their phone or reply to messages. Phoned FV, as I thought they did have a phone number for the delivery company they said they left a message and would get back to us. Nothing from delivery company and nothing from FV. Nearly forgot to say that a couple of weeks ago the manager phoned to say he will be keeping us updated, we've heard nothing. Unfortunately we are also waiting for a sofa!

Ordered a Modular corner sofa, large wall clock, and 4 dining chairs - ordered in January. Ben our sales person in Exeter was great. He made us a cuppa and spoke through the products with encyclopaedic knowledge. He gave us lots of time to compare products and make our decision. He even brought one of the dining chairs down the stairs so we could make sure the colours worked with the sofa. He talked through the transaction clearly explaining delivery, warranty etc. He also sold my parents a new bed and gave them the same excellent service At no point did I feel there was any heavy sales tactics involved, he was incredibly helpful and informative. His colleagues were also friendly helpful without being pushy when we were wandering around the store. It seemed liked they were happy to work there. Aftershave service was also very good I was called for the 2 deliveries and the person on the phone made sure I was happy. I asked to delay the sofa delivery from the start of March to mid March and this was sorted without any issue. Overall amazing service and good products - I love the products and service was great!
