We brought a home built by Burrington Estates through Live West and have nothing but problem after problem, nothing being done which is said will be, no one turning up to fix things when they are booked in. The build quality is awful, from loose plugs, to the bath not fitted correctly. We have had two leaks due to things being done wrong, of which nothing has been done about. The garden was half finished when moving in after being told it would be done by move in day. Anytime you ring, you get nothing back, I wouldnt recommend anyone buying a house built by the company, it will only cause you more stress than its worth. We put a snag list in 8 months ago and have heard nothing after being told it would need to all be done in the first 3 months. To top it off, when the house was being cleaned for move in due to covid, they hadnt given their cleaner the code to the key boxtheir resolution to this was to try and break into it!!

Despite offering Burrington Estates two years warranty covering everything it was very difficult to obtain response from customer services on any claims. After nearly two years there are still tickets outstanding as open or in progress and despite many reminders from our side they were left without any action. Some of the claims were addressed promptly then exactly the same affecting other parts of the house were declined as a matter of maintenance rather than snagging issue. In overall terrible service although the house was sold as premium luxury one with "fantastic Burrington Estates two years warranty on everything". Another marketing lie.

My daughter purchased a shared ownership home with Burringtons and Livewest. Twelve months later the snagging is still not fixed, nobody tries to sort anything at all. She has a bad bathroom leak and despite being told it would be fixed urgently nothing has been done. It would seem that they have zero customer service, maybe as it is shared ownership, but the purchase price was still very high for a lower standard of fitting and zero customer service. Personally I would avoid based on our experiences.
