Host Northernhay House - Student Accommodation Exeter

The staff here are quite nice and friendly. The price is affordable and the position is the best in Exeter while I do suggest you consider any other places. Imagining one day you wake up and wanna take a shower, you turn on the shower and put shampoo on your hair then you find the water supply system collapses now. This unstable facility problem has repeated for many times and I even couldnt count clearly. The another ridiculous thing is about the fire door. There are two exits in this building and one is the main door with reception, the other one is the fire door which is closer to the northernhay place. I usually use this door since its more convenient. However, the management team in this accommodation doesnt want tenants to use this door: they make the key system outside this door invalid, then we cant access to the building from outside but still can go out from here. This doesnt please them and this term they demounted the handle and locked the door forever. Once this building was designed and there is a stairway and a door, that means THERE NEEDS AN EXIT FOR ANY POTENTIAL FIRE ESCAPE. Their weird actions about this poor door violates the related law and it makes all of tenants in danger. I cant believe this can happen in a developed country. Fire door should be made sure that whenever I have to use this door then I must can exit from it. If you wanna any ensuite room with similar price, consider the printworks or the barn

A place that can live in at a bargaining price. The staffs are nice, but the facilities are kinda out of date. everything that can malfunction has once malfunctioned. The efficiency for maintenance is kinda low as well.
