East of Exe, Exeter office

The worst estate agent. Try get something sorted out with maintenance and they never respond. However when leaving the property we left it in better condition than we received and they still try take money from the deposit and want further cleaning to be done to fix their mess. Ridiculous useless agents

UPDATE - They responded to this review but haven't done anything about it! That shows a lot doesn't it. Felt scammed and like I was sent on a wild goose chase. My reference failed because they don't do a thoroughenough check all was needed was a call to ask what happened.(I changed contract in November/December but where was an option where I could actually give details?) Wouldn't tell us the issue, constantly lied/sugar coated it. Got told to call all these places to find out it wasn't to do with them, It was the estate agents. Luckily HomeLet actually give us the information. Now they won't even hold a meeting with me and my partner to rectify this and wouldn't give us our holding fee money back although its not our fault. Would not recommend.

I dont recommend this agent to work with mature students at the university because they dont have much choices available at least in the beginning of 2020. Ive booked twice with this estate agent and they cancelled them for reasons: the first was because they thought Im not a mature student; and Im wondering how a person told you Im studying masters at the university can be not a mature student. The second time, they said the property has been taken so we had to cancel all viewings. I understand that the landowner has the final decision, but why I felt that this property were not targeted by more than just one person. They should have told me there are couple of applicants interested in the property so that I could have continued looking for another one. I think an estate agent should ask about the client desire so if they have to cancel a viewing they give different options even guide the client to another estate agent. The 2 stars is for the colour of the logo and keeping my frustration at the minimum. Im sorry, I recommend this agent to people who come from gulf states for any reasons but I think Im going to withdraw my recommendation.
