A wonderful experience- from taking in a mixture of my late Mums jewellery - discussing the redesign with Jordan, and then collecting 5 beautiful rings for different members of the family the care and service was amazing. Amazing service from Charlotte and Jordan - Charlotte felt like the first jeweller who actually listened to what we wanted and made it happen! She's been kind and patient and the service overall was efficient and easy throughout. Couldn't be happier with the purchase - thank you.

A big thank you to all the friendly staff in Dobles and especially to Jordan for dealing with two rings well and truly stuck on Mums finger. He cut the rings off and meant that we didnt need to visit the hospital. Well be returning in a couple of months to get the rings resized. A big thank you and hearty recommendation from us!

My wife and I went to Doble Jewellers in Sidwell Street recently having phoned in advance to explain that we were looking to sell two vintage watches we had bought previously when we were livng in Dubai. When we arrived in the shop, we were greeted by the shop manager who was barely pleasant and quite offhand. One of my watches was a quartz Vacheron Constantin which he asked us to leave with him. I am aware that he must have many people looking to sell watches in the current climate but he made us feel that he was doing us a big favour just by looking at them. When we went back an hour later he sent his Sales Assistant to advise us that he could not open the back of the watch to assess its condition but would offer us 350. I could understand if he did not want to buy the watch but to offer such a derisory and insulting amount added insult to injury. He made us feel like an annoyance eventhough I actually run my own successful business and was not selling out of desperation. The Manager of the Sidwell Street branch is just rude with no manners. We subsequently sold the watch elsewhere for a very fair price and received outstanding service in the bargain. Poor customer service and I would certainly would advise anyone to give this shop a wide berth. When we do purchase jewellery in future we will default to our former jewellers, G.Collins in Tunbridge Wells, which provides excellent customer service eventhough we now live near Exeter.
