        Zak and Aki are the most wonderful teachers and people to learn from. Not only this, they are amazing people with rare personalities that energise you and gift you with a smile and laugh after that frustrating day at work. Diamonds in the rough. Their teaching is thorough, precise and creates consistent results. Horizon is a welcoming place, everyone is extremely friendly and allows you to go at the pace you'd like to go. It's like a new family, except you're all allowed to fight with one another. And it's great! I will be defintely coming back for as long as I remain in Exeter and will love to grow alongside them, both BJJ-wise and age wise! Bonus benefits! - Cuddles with their gorgeous border collie, Zuko. It's a win-win really

        I have only been going to Horizon BJJ for about 2 weeks and i'm already loving it! Aki, Zak and the rest of the people who attend are all extremely welcoming and make it fun while also teaching the crucial skills of BJJ. For any beginner thinking of starting BJJ i can highly recommend Horizon.

        Couldn't recommend this academy enough. Going back to martial arts after a prolonged break wasn't going to be easy but Coaches Zak and Aki made my return seamless. They care not only for their students BJJ skill, but also their wider fitness, physical health and mental wellbeing - which is not always the case with sports coaching. I can't thank them enough for making me feel welcome and cared for!
