Amazing! I have been helping support a friend who has recently had a stay at the cedars. It was a scary time for us all and the nurses were there to help and give advice every step of the way. They even helped me over the phone when I was a blubbering mess lol. The grounds are beautiful! My friend and I spent a lot of time walking around the grounds and talking which was very healing for us both. They don't pressure patients to do things or put them out of their comfort zone which is nice. Cedars has a lot of extra activities like art, music etc. If the patient wishes to do activities they are readily available. My friend had a lovely morning making soap and talking. It can be a bit daunting being around patients with complex needs at first but once my friend settled in she met some really nice people and had a nice time chatting to people of different backgrounds. The aftercare once being discharged is also amazing. We had a home team visit us within 2 days and my friend has been referred on to all the relevant services. Within 48 hours of being at cedars my friend had made visible improvement and I saw other patients making improvements to. My friend left with all the medication she needed and lots of important contacts. I couldn't ask for much better for my loved one tbh

Absolutely disgusting, in a pandemic especially, my daughters bedroom had blood all over the walls and clearly hadnt been cleaned in a long tome. Bed changes only. She asked for it to be cleaned, and 9 days later still waiting. Some staff are lovely, some it seems enjoy winding them up and as for the consultant shocking. Absolutely shocking.
