H A I R I used to work for Toni& Guy so the worst possible client! Id also had a terrible experience many years ago and had since cut my own hair. Jo came very highly recommended and I desperately needed a good cut I honestly couldnt have been happier Jo has it all, she has the patience, the empathy and the skills in cutting, styling, product knowledge and colour to make a truly superb stylist. Shes an absolute perfectionist The environment she has created couldnt be further away from the typical salon experience, this boutique salon really is a tranquil oasis of calm. If youre struggling to know who to trust with looking after your hair, please book an appointment with Jo, youll be in totally safe hands. N A I L S Again, Jill is an absolute perfectionist hence my 10/10 score for this beautiful hair and nail lounge My nails, or what was left of them were an embarrassment to me, I genuinely thought Jill would send me away with a sorry but theres nothing I can do with these comment. Id already been to a traditional nail salon (not a pleasurable experience on any level), the nails looked absolutely awful and started to fall off before Id arrived home. So a challenge for Jill but one that didnt phase her I left with my nails looking absolutely beautiful! And three weeks later still looking good! Again, wonderful to be in a one to one beautiful, quiet and relaxed environment and with someone who is so skilled in their craft. Jill is passionate about her work and like Jo, a lovely person too! My only reluctance to post this review, is that theyll be even more busy than they already are and wont have time to fit me in! But if any business deserves the business, its Jo and Jill at Fox & Ames.
