I ordered a bespoke AV cabinet to be made here. It took forever, but when it finally arrived, several of the measurements were completely wrong. They had not been able to follow basic measurements on a technical drawing. Apart from the mistakes, the actual quality of the furniture seemed good. They eventually agreed to remake the unit and provide a 'switchover'. After months of waiting, they eventually provided the replacement. When I had unpacked it, I found the mistakes were even worse than the first time, with cut-outs not being made where they should have been, poor quality joins, and a worse finish. They had clearly made less effort with the replacement than they had with the original. Having made mistakes the first time, my job should have taken priority, and not only should it have been correct the second time, but it should have been absolutely amazing. Instead, the whole thing had been an inconvenience for them to have to remake - what an attitude! In the end, unfortunately, I had to pay for their mistakes myself, because this was preferable to having to deal with these people any longer. Just to arrange to have the replacement taken away would have taken weeks and weeks. After so many months of inconvenience, I had had enough, and eventually broke ties with them. Perhaps this is what they had hoped for from the day they took the money. Basically they are incompetent, show no attention to detail whatsoever, and have no idea how to treat the customer. The bottom line is: they were satisfied for a customer to have paid for substandard work, and to be left with a product that was not what they had paid for. Response to the owner, who has replied to me by writing a positive review of their own company: I am not surprised that you have no record of making my AV cabinet. I expect your record keeping is much the same as your furniture making...and your customer service. By responding to me, in this way, you have only further demonstrated that my review is obviously accurate. For all those who see this review in future, I shall attach a photo here (taken from a video on the day that this cabinet went into a skip). It will then be clear that I did not accidently review the wrong company, as you have foolishly suggested.

Martin - I think you have made a mistake with your poor Google review and I believe that you have the wrong company. For one, we have no record of making an AV/TV unit for you and secondly, you would never need to unpack our furniture. All furniture, without exception, is delivered by us. I am sorry that you have had a poor experience - perhaps come to Chunky Monkey Forever Furniture next time.

These guys made a simply stunning, large coffee table for our lounge. We couldnt be happier with the result. Highly recommended.
