        Cold called me to discuss my existing policy with them. After revealing all of my personal data it emerged my policy is not with them and they had got my details and pretended I had a policy. Now Im being badgered by text and email to sign a policy that costs 5 times more than my existing one

        A very good discount broker to use for things such as life insurance and certain types of investment. They obtain lower prices for you by effectively giving you some of the commission that they earn when they link you up with a provider. They provide a non-advice service, or, for a little more money, a useful advice service. Their interests are aligned with yours so it all works rather nicely.
