Ive been holding off on giving a review because I didnt want to give a bad review without giving it time but this practice just isnt working for me. Im looking forward to moving and finding a new one. Some of the doctors are compassionate and the reception are mostly helpful but Ive had quite a few experiences where I didnt feel listened to and it took years of appointments just to finally be offered a medicine that actually worked, most of my appointments just involved being told why I shouldnt be given meds despite my conditions. Now for some reason all of my med orders keep getting rejected and Im constantly left without important medicines to keep me functioning and not bed bound. Im at the end of my rope with this

I have covid and have felt very ill with it. I rang the surgery at lunch-time and a very compassionate receptionist took details and then assessed that an emergency tel appointment was required. Dr Nicholls then asked me to come in that afternoon and checked me over. Thank goodness I have nothing but ongoing covid symptoms but I cannot fault the process.

Moved to this surgery a few months ago - each time the appointments took more than 3 weeks. My old surgery elsewhere in Devon could provide same or next day appointments pretty consistently! Not sure why SL has such a long waiting time! Shame, as staff are reasonably nicen

No stars today after what the Reception Team put me through Having to catch 6 buses as the Reception messed up your test you were meant to do seemed ok to them. With no sensitivity or compassion shown. They tried to make me in the wrong, for them messing up. Having had cancer, how they treated me was horrible. So ti enable me to get the correct test done, I had to catch 6 buses Well done Reception Team for Messing Up and trying to make the Patience think it was their fault I had to in the end give one star to add this post. They deserve no stars

I am always so thankful for our wonderful caring practice, with access to the services we need. When I hear of other practices I am horrified, why cannot they be like ours. Many thanks to everyone working there.
