This doctor tried to take over patient care without consent when usual doctor was absent. There was no such urgency to "poach" another GP's patient but this was his approach. This doctor can be hostile and by his conduct exhibited traits I associate with untrustworthy persons demonstrating unwillingness or inability to account for his actions. Fabricated a story to NHS England claiming to have carried out an investigation into a complaint that had not [yet] made. Dr Russell informed NHS England that an investigation of the patient's complaint had been carried out and it was found that only the patient was at fault; that the patient had been removed (deducted) from the list because the doctor patient relationship had irretrievably broken down. A self-serving statement of facts entirely of his own making. Making false statements is a serious offence. In a clinical setting it is grave. Presumably when CQC inspected in October 2015 Dr Russell must have been on his best behavour. My advice is steer a wide berth from Dr David Russell. Not someone you need to be involved with.
