I had a software problem with my XC40. Contacted Vertu Volvo, Exeter & booked the car in to be looked at. I've been a Volvo owner & Kastner/ Vertu customer for over 20 years now. I won't lie the software issue was a real pain & very inconvenient. Credit where credits due though! Ben Williamson, Val Pollard & the rest of the team at Exeter Vertu Volvo were excellent. No courtesy car was available, but a lift was arranged for me to get into Exeter City Centre. Ben Williamson went above & beyond as did Val Pollard. Needless to say the car was fixed & also compensation was offered. Massive thank you to all the team. Not many places these days do you get customer service as good as this!

Fantastic service from Ben and the team. They were quick to identify the problems with our car and get them fixed. The staff were friendly and we even got a complimentary car clean which I imagine was a horrendous job ! Thank you! 100% will continue using you for our workhorse. Mark

Pricey But Poor Repair Service Recently my car was in for service of two issues: a blown fuse of the infotainment system and the rain sensor didnt work after a screen replacement at National Windscreen. While waiting I was recommended to agree with carrying out an investigation for the reason of over current that caused to blow the fuse which I did. When they finished had no idea what happened around the fuse, but I was charged for 110.00 extra for an unnecessary 40-point Vehicle Health Check including check Interion, Controls, Levels, Belts, Battery, Lights, Body, Under, Glass, Brakes, Steering, Suspension and Tyres, however I didnt ask them and they were not supposed to carry out. And this is not all. When my car was returned, I stopped the engineer and checked the rain sensor and that was in the same condition, there was a bubble between the screen and the sensor. The engineer struggled a bit with it and seemed to be operational again and he advised me to buy a new sensor with gel next time if stopes working (it stopped 10 minutes later). He let me know the price would be around 190 plus labour. I left the service with not requested checklist, a replaced fuse and an unrepaired rain sensor and I paid 134.58, and prospect of a future repair for a hefty price tag. I thought that the sensor replacement would be unnecessary because it worked for a while when it was properly fitted, so I ordered one a gel from eBay just for 9.00 with home delivery, I fitted it myself and now it works fine. What can I say? I have been customer of this service for a few years but never again will take my car there.
