I purchased my Ford Mondeo from SMC in Exeter recently this will be the third car I have purchased from the guys at SMC Service was great car was ready earlier than expected Very clean on collection and I have always been pleased with the service Will be back again for another car soon!

Would not recommend this garage. Me and my wife spent the best part of 38,000 here last year on 2 vehicles. The Audi we bought after 7 months developed a massive oil leak. So we took it to the closest garage to us to have it checked out. Upon investigation, on of the pulleys by the engine was loose, causing a leak on an oil seal. My wife rang the garage to see what they could do to help as we had a year warranty, and what we believe is one of the bosses Rob completely fobbed her off, telling her we should expect these things to happen and it's not his problem. The car is an 18 plate and has covered less than 19000 miles. He then told her "Just because you spent 25,000 on the car dosn't mean that's what it's worth" I went to the garage to try and resolve the matter to be then told all they could do was put it in their lock up for 4 weeks till they could get somebody to look at it, and all they could do was "go halves" so their warranty means nothing. They also would not give us a courtesy car in-between time leaving my wife with no way to get to work or any form of transport for our disabled daughter to get to her appointment's of school. We have eventually got the car fixed at a cost to ourselves. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS!!!!

Have been a customer of this garage for 17 years. I have bought 3 cars from them and had them all serviced here. The place is first class and I would highly recommend it to anybody. The workmanship on servicing my my has been second to none. The staff are also really friendly.

I found a part-exchange car on Auto-trader which was based at SMC Garage Group. During the phone discussion to organise a test drive Steve was very helpful. On arrival the sales staff were all very welcoming and presented a professional manner. Steve offered us a coffee and answered all my questions in as much detail as possible. The car was on the forecourt set up for me to view and take for a spin. Purchasing. Clear paperwork and explanation as to what each document was that I needed to sign and how to proceed with payment. On collection (a couple days later). The car was spotless, had a full service and MOT completed, and a full tank of fuel. Steve really went the extra mile to ensure it was in a like new condition. I was given all my documents in a folder for safe keeping, Steve explained each document so I understood its relevance. Overall great experience and I will recommend to friends and family in future to check out the forecourt are SMC for their future car purchases.
