Louises life drawing classes are fantastic! She has a great teaching technique which moves the focus firmly onto the process of observing and drawing. This stopped me getting hung up about what the finished picture looked like. So much more rewarding and enjoyable! I loved the classes and met lots of interesting people of different backgrounds and abilities. Thank you so much Louise!

I attend the weekly life drawing and watercolour classes held in Matthew's Hall in Topsham. I hadn't really don't much focused art since I was at college and joined these classes to boost my confidence. Louise is an excellent teacher, with a wealth of knowledge and experience that she imparts on us with skill. Not only does each lesson leave me feeling totally relaxed, she encourages me to push myself and see the world from a different point of you which improves my drawing and painting significantly. The classes are experimental, expressive and excellent value. I can't recommend Louise enough, I'm looking forward to continuing with Louise as my mentor for a long while!

I'm retired and haven't done any art since school. With fear and trepidation I signed up for Louise's life drawing classes and can honestly say I haven't looked back since! Her classes are fun and relaxed. But goodness she gets you thinking, looking and experimenting. I look forward to my Fridays with Louise and love that her classes start with a look at other artists' work and an inspiring quote.
