Barrie Simons produced a set of plans for our new front extension and rear extension for our house, originally a chalet bungalow. He submitted the plans to the local council and acted as our agent at the local Planning Committee meeting. The plans were unanimously agreed. Barrie and his team acted professionally at all times and designed a set of plans which were very sympathetic with other styles of property within the local area. Once the building work was completed our local Building Inspector, on his final visit, commented upon the design, stating that he was very impressed that the extensions allowed us to have so much extra space in giving us a new large front bedroom and large bathroom from what was originally an attic, and by extending across two dormer windows at the back of the house we have created space for fitted wardrobes in the two back bedrooms. Overall we are very pleased with our extensions and Barrie's design has provided exactly what we wanted.
