Hospiscare

Simply had an introductory meeting with a nurse so no tour around the facility to mention as such. Plenty of parking around the rear of the building if you are just visiting. All the staff I met were super friendly, informative and welcoming. A special mention for the volunteer I met who has had her own health battles and survived, and now gives back to this marvellous charity who she cares greatly about.

I can't tell you how kind these people are... every one of them is a gift from God! Nothing is too much trouble, they have what feels like an unlimited amount of time, love and compassion for you and your loved one. My dad was desperate to not go into a hospice. Therefore, making us really anxious for the transition. Every time we enter the ward we are greeted with the most incredible sense of love and support. My father always looks so well presented and the emotional support we as his daughter and wife have received has been absolutely mind blowing! You get the opportunity to get to know the staff on a personal level which really does make it feel like you're going from home to home... If you're reading this and your loved one is about to enter their journey here.. please don't worry. They'll be treated with the upmost respect, dignity, love and kindness. I cannot have asked for a better place for my hero to pass. Thank you so much to all involved in this incredible place! - plus they have the cutest chubby squirrels and wild birds in the gardens!
