Kate's Kakes

Kate recently made our mums 80th birthday cake. And WOW what a beautiful cake it was! Kate is so lovely, friendly and patient. I had lots of questions. My OCD made me go over everything a few times or more When I picked up the cake not only was I moved when I clocked eyes on it! But hugely impressed by the cleanliness of Kates home and Kitchen. She was so warm and even helped me to the car to make sure it was in securely. A 5 star service! The cake was the talk of the hotel and party. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all of the guests. 50 slices were soon gone. Everyone commented on how beautiful and delicious it was. Thanks so much Kate!! My mum was over the moon with it!

Kate made a cake for my mum's 70th birthday - it was stunning. From my initial enquiry onwards, Kate provided prompt responses with advice and suggestions which helped narrow down a broad theme for the cake design, including flavours. Although I had sent Kate some pictures of cakes that appealed to me from her social media posts, I did not want to impose a particular design, preferring to let her interpret the design brief as she saw fit. It would also have been impossible to pick 'favourites' from her beautiful past creations. Upon collection Kate provided advice about storage and how to best serve the cake for the best 'eating' experience. We were travelling for a couple of hours and the cake storage box perfectly protected the cake until we presented it. The cake was a visual delight, with flavour and baking quality to match. It was so appreciated by my mum and admired by all present. Thank you for helping us to celebrate her birthday in style.

Kate kindly baked some cupcakes for my Sister-in-law's 60th birthday. From initial contact to collection, Kate was just brilliant - I had absolutely no idea what I really wanted but with her guidance and experience I was able to pick 2 flavours and the decorations (flowers and candied fruit). The family were absolutely blown away by the cakes, the decoration was superb and the flavours were truly delicious. I will never buy cakes from anyone again! It's my own 60th next year so I know exactly where I'll be going for my cake! Kate, a message from my Sister-in-law ... "Thank you very much, my cakes were delicious and so incredibly beautiful. I particularly loved the chocolate orange and didn't want to share those ones!" From me - thank you again. It was lovely to meet you and I'll be in touch in the New Year.
