Of all the Auction Houses we deal with, Nigel Ward are the most personable, with the most helpful staff and assistance. They reply to condition reports requests with very helpful assessments, and have a reasonably priced p&p service. By barely 5pm today on auction day, we had our invoices and offer for p&p. We've also attended auctions, great selection, and superb Auctioneer. Gold standard service.

My name is Nicole DeFontes, and I live in the US. I collect vintage Eiderdowns from the UK. I mostly purchase Eiderdowns from private sellers, and have not used an auction house before, but I found Nigel Ward and Company auction online, so thought I would give a try, and placed a bid on 2 Eiderdowns. The transaction could not have been easier! Nigel Ward and Co. communicated with me promptly, and were a great help in figuring out posting, payment, etc. I was more than impressed. Because I live in the US, I thought surely there may be some kind of issue with payment, posting, and the process, but the entire process from start to finish, was smooth, and easy. I received quick, and friendly communication via email, and they answered any and all questions that I had. I received the Eiderdowns that I purchased very quickly! I suspected shipping may take some time, but no, the Eiders arrived nicely packaged, sealed in plastic, and arrived within a week. I was so impressed with Nigel Ward Co. that I am writing this review. I encourage anyone who is considering using Nigel Ward, to go ahead, and do it! Thank you again Nigel Ward and Company for an easy experience, as well as my 2 lovely new Eiderdowns! I will certainly purchase again, and hope you keep me in mind when other Eiderdowns come in. Bought a couple of items at auction. Very easy to deal with and they did exactly what they told me they would so far as handling and delivery.
