Howard and his team at Yew Tree Stone made sorting out a memorial an easy process, if it can be. From my initial contact with him, he was polite and showed genuine care towards myself and my family. He had expert knowledge and answered all of my awkward and somewhat silly questions, easily. The memorial was made efficiently and to a very high standard and we are all very happy with the final product. Thank you to Howard and his team, once again.

Having never had to deal with anything like this before, I have to praise Yew Tree Stone from the very get go. Howard and his staff were very helpful at this time of need. Their attention to detail and impeccable communication are second to none. They gave me the date that the work would be carried out and I went along. James showed upmost respect when placing the memorial, especially considering the environment he was working in and the fact I was there. I would not hesitate in recommending this company.

The use of these memorial masons has been absolutely awful! They have caused untold distress and upset and I write this review in order to try and prevent anyone else from undergoing such a miserable experience. It's hard enough being bereaved of a loved one but they have just made it 10 times worse! I placed my order and paid the requisite deposit on 14th June. This was for a small heart memorial. This was eventually delivered on Monday 1st Oct (some 3.5 months later) but to the incorrect grave! This was eventually put right on Weds 3rd after our complaint and attendance at the cemetery for the 2nd time that day. Had the masons asked the cemetery staff for a plan or for us to specify the site this would have been easily avoided. The memorial for my Mother was to be placed on the grave of her youngest son who had died many years before when still a child. However whilst that was distressing enough, the final straw was seeing the mason stand on my Brother's open book style headstone already present not once but twice! I was utterly shocked and upset! Moreover the incorrect grave site which was erroneously disturbed by the error of Yew Trew Stone had been left with out putting matters right despite our raising this with the company. When I raised the matter with the Director of the company I was advised that unless I had proof of his staff standing on the headstone he would do nothing. He didn't even apologize. In fact less than 48 hrs after the stone was correctly placed he threatened me with removing the memorial if I did not promptly pay for the balance. I think the experience I have undergone as a bereaved daughter I would not wish to visit on any other family.
