        I booked a battery check due to the battery light coming on and was told I needed a new battery. The new battery was fitted but the battery light was still on. I was told to wait a couple of days to see if it went off. It did not so I took it to a local repairer who did a simple test and told me within 1 minute that the alternator needed replacing. He said that the simple test should have been done by Kwik Fit before they fitted the nee battery
