A quaint little building known as The Watch House or sometimes the Engine House, this small building appears to date from around 1777 (although could be earlier from accounts from 1770), and served a dual purpose as the store for the local hand-operated fire engine, and the local jail. No access available so all you can see of it is from the outside.
