Thinking that my original 1930s door was beyond repair, I approached a local business who made bespoke doors. They put me onto Harry, advising that a restoration job would be a much cheaper option. I am so glad that I took their advice. From the start, Harry was clearly very experienced, highly knowledgeable and confident that he could fully restore my door. Like all good tradesmen, Harry was booked up quite far in advance. But he committed to a date to do the work, remained in contact and true to his word, commenced the job on the agreed date. From there on Harry impressed us greatly with his practical skills, immense knowledge and passion for doing the best possible job. He clearly cares about his work and aims for the finished result to stay good for the long term, thus giving excellent value for money. Our now fully restored door, that was previously fragile, had dry rot and gaping holes is now a solid work of beauty. We had Harry in during the run up to Christmas for a job involving 3 levels of staircase to be painted plus a bedroom & downstairs toilet. The quality of the work was outstanding, and Harry preps thoroughly to ensure the best possible result. Once everything planned was sorted he even helped us out at short notice after a DIY disaster & re-did our living room. Would highly recommend & is a pleasure to deal with. Harry did a great job redecorated the exterior of our house, went above and beyond fixing a lot of issues left over from previous builders / windows fitters. I have to highlight how reliable Harry is, he gave me almost hourly update on the progress, and the best part is he was with us the whole time, unlike other builders would take multiple jobs at the same time.
