My family and I have recently left this practice, after being threatened by the reception staff about the penalties for cancellations, IF we ever dared to do so. It was nice that, they also doubled down on this, when I called to inform them that we would be joining another practice. I was then told that when we ask come back, we will each be charged a fine to return. Obviously this will never, ever be an issue, as we will absolutely never return. Also, enjoy the long wait times for your calls to be answered, to have the sparkling service offered to you.

I recently visited Active Smile to get my teeth whitened as it was something Id thought about for quite some time. From start to finish I could not fault the process, I was informed each step of the way and had my whitening trays within one week of my first consultation. The results speak for themselves as my teeth are now as white as I wanted them to be. Thanks Active Smile!

I have been an nhs patient for many years and have enjoyed excellent service but have now been dumped because I have not had an appointment since 2019. 18 months of this period have been under covid restrictions. ps: I am happy to report that I have just been reinstated.

Me and my wife registered, went to practice handed everything in. We were told we would be contacted and we weren't. Tried to contact and get myself in, they said due to covid they couldnt see me. Now months later they said there not accepting new NHS patients when we already registered and basically said oh but we can charge you privately instead. Fuming with this place. AVOID

Recently had a tooth extraction (after a previous failed extraction where I was left in pain for several weeks). I was charged 260 for a 5 minute procedure. My issue is that I was told that this could cost between 150 and 260 but I was charged the maximum for a very rushed visit. I was initially told I could only have an appointment in 3 months time but after raising my concerns due to the pain I was in, a cancellation miraculously appeared on the very same day. Was there a cancellation or was I squeezed in to the schedule? Felt like the latter due to the rushed feel to my visit. Apparently, the ten second cutting of the gum (which had started to grow over my previous failed extraction), the 1 and a half minutes of vigorous drilling and the 1 minute of root pulling all add up to being a complicated surgical procedure that warranted the 260 charge. I do not have issue with the final result, merely an issue with the charge for what amounted to a straight forward 5 minute visit which was only a necessity due to the unsuccessful previous attempt at extraction.
