Lands Village Hall runs a regular coffee morning for coffee and cake every first Tuesday of the month. It offers fresh coffee (or tea, or hot chocolate) and a selection of cakes to choose from. Other refreshments are also available. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, with good banter and gossip! The hall is currently under refurbishment and proceeds from the coffee mornings go towards the costs of the refurbishment projects, except when the hall runs its twice-yearly charity coffee mornings, to benefit a designated charity. Worth supporting the local community, visit after a walk on Cockfield Fell, or to refuel on a cycle ride. Dogs, cats and cyclists welcome!
