Picturesque thatched cottage in beautiful village. Much appreciated welcome pack and fresh flowers. BUT scraped head on wire hanging from porch. Lamp in sitting room didn't work, fire very temperamental, only way to keep heating on was to put thermostat in bedroom even then it kept turning itself down in the evening and up during the night. Oven needed good clean, freezer needed defrosting, cutlery renewing, a serving spoon or two would be nice. We had to buy some small glasses as there were only pints and wine. The dining table was ok for two but no more. Bathroom radiator worked when it felt like it. Hot water in bath and shower ran cold. Would not recommend this cottage in winter and definitely for no more than two.
