We dined there last night as the first diners at 6pm (the restaurants opening time on Saturday.) The service on arriving was swift and responsive. The starter of ox cheek that we shared was tasty and reasonably well presented. However there were issues with the mains. The crab and squid ink pasta was tasty with a nice sauce but for a main a very small portion served in a smallish bowl too. My partner who is gluten and dairy intolerant wanted to order the Hake main. I had when booking been reassured that all dishes could be made to be gluten and dairy free. However the waiter returned to say this was not possible for the Hake dish which was really disappointing. Instead she had the Bavette and beetroot dish which was a cohesive dish but the steak underwhelming. Why do so many restaurants serve Bavette steak? Its not a good cut of beef and never satisfies. Is it a cost cutting exercise? When we had finished our mains there was a fair bit of food debris on the table that the waitress failed to return and clean up, leaving us to do it ourselves! This is despite there only being 2-3 couples dining at the time! All in all, the food was mixed, not good value for money given the portion sizes service not impeccable and not delivering on their promise that dishes could be made to suit dietary intolerances. Unlikely to go back based on this experience.

Food was absolutely knock out and service was great too! I had a Pork cheek dish with a sweet sauce and stem Brocolli and a simple artichoke spaghetti that was amazing too. Best Italian food I've had for a while in london and prices were fair too.
