I am amending my previous review as the company has been in touch and now kindly fixed the problem to a high standard. -- We commissioned two custom made wardrobes sets from urban wardrobes. One for a bedroom and one for a basement room. Both sets are well made and the designs are great. We would have been extremely pleased with them except for a major issue with the basement ones. We discovered a few years after installation that all of the contents had mould growing on them. We initially thought it must be a problem with damp from the basement construction. Having had an inspection it turns out that this is not the issue but rather a lack of ventilation to the wardrobes. We have been asking Urban Wardrobes repeatedly to help resolve the issue by installing some vents. They initially refused claiming it is not their responsibility. They then put us in touch with their installation manager who said he would come and look at it but has failed to do so despite several chases over more than a year. The main manager has also been quite aggressive/rude in his communication. We are now stuck having to leave the wardrobe doors open constantly to avoid the same issue recurring. Its a shame because the wardrobes are nice and we were pleased to support a local company but I would not recommend Urban Wardrobes because if something goes wrong after sales, you may end up stuck Services: Furniture design, Furniture assembly, Cabinet construction & installation, Custom furniture
