Had solar panels fitted yesterday by Stuart Aidan and Hayden. What an absolute credit to the company they are. Very polite. Kept us informed throughout the whole installation process of the panels. There was a few issues regarding our fuse box and some parts for the panels not being delivered, which they had to wait for, but all credit to them they stayed until the job was completed. They cleaned up afterwards as well. Definitely recommend this company. Also before the installation we were in contact with Elliott regarding which panels etc to get and he too is a credit to the company. Thank you. Donna & Joe

Brilliant company: friendly but not pushy sales rep. Quick response to quote request, promptly arranged survey and fast and efficient delivery of system. On time and at the quoted price. System performs better than expected and have many 'free' days of electrical supply already even on non-sunny days!. Easily contactable and helpful answers to queries.

UPS Solar review. (Good kit, shocking aftersales) We had an initial install date of Easter Monday 2022, and cut our Easter holiday short to be at home in time. On the morning of the install date, I had a call asking if they could postpone as they had double booked. I said that given I had cut a holiday short, I would mind massively. A small positive its that they did indeed come, arriving after lunchtime. About half way through the install I was informed that they did not have batteries, but to expect them in a couple of weeks. Small issue with damaged and dirty trunking, but nothing I couldn't (though shouldn't) easily rectify. No documentation was left with me regarding the system operation, App, portal, or how to get registered with Fox-ESS. Less than 1 week later I was invoiced, minus the cost for the batteries. Thats when the chasing began. I had to chase to get scaffolding removed, resorting to calling the scaffold company direct, then I had to chase for all the relevant paperwork, which took 6 weeks to arrive. (still no batteries) Multiple follow up emails were sent with requests for install dates of batteries. These were either ignored or I was fobbed off, or told they are due in a month... In December the system failed. (still no batteries) I had to contact Fox-ESS direct myself as I had no response from UPS solar. When I eventually did get a response they had no record of my install on their portal. Fox-Ess sorted my issue remotely without any intervention from UPS Solar. We are now 1 year post install. I still have no batteries and I have had zero communication from UPS Solar since January. I have given up with them and will continue to advise people to avoid them at all costs. We had our solar panels installed recently by this company. Right from the start when we first engaged with the salesman to the installation and after this company was great. Communication was always swift and efficient (less the scaffolding company which was a 3rd party, lacked a bit of communication) The installation was fast and efficient completed by 2 workmen in 1 day, they were very pleasant and considerate workers clearly showing respect for our property whilst conducting a major install of a brand new solar system. When they finished they gave me a walk through of the system and how it all worked. What was really good was the amount of post installation support and instructions which were all emailed to me along with links to helpful YouTube videos. There is a handy app where you can track your system from your phone or any personal device with an internet connection as well as a cloud website where you can get even more detail. I had a few contacts with the company about various things both before and post installation and always received very fast and comprehensive responses. Im very happy to have chosen UPS Solar for my installation, having full confidence in them being in charge of my solar system for years to come. Happy to recommend based on my experience.
