Two weeks after ordering no mats and no response to emails. There has been a name change to Creative Essentials recently, website is creativeessentials.co.uk. It gives the same address and also a telephone number if interested. Are car mats still being supplied then, or have T-shirts taken over???? Has the company taken on too much hence the issues with the mats???? If I do not get a response or the mats soon I will be looking to obtain a refund via my credit card company. Update on 15th November. My credit card provider refunded me and not long after I received the mats. But they were so thin I would have returned them anyway. I returned them in person to the Buckshaw address which is a small business unit. Interestingly if you now put Creative Essentials into Google it comes up with Auto Windows, at the same address which then directs you to the Carmatcompany website!!!!! And Creative Essentials are late in filing their accounts at Companies House. That just about says it all.

Paid extra for 2/3 day delivery and after three weeks of agro and starting a PayPal dispute with this company, our mats have arrived today. Lovely quality, perfect fit, good price but shocking service. Very pleased with our mats and worth the wait.

THE CARMAT COMPANY - SUPPLIER CONFIRMED MY ORDER ON 28/4 - EMAILED CO. ON 4/5, TOLD PROBLEMS WITH SEWING MACHINE, MATS WOULD BE DELIVERED FOLLOWING WEEK - EMAILED CO. ON 11/5, TOLD PROBLEMS WITH SUPPLIER, MATS WOULD BE DELIVERED FOLLOWING WEEK - EMAILED CO. ON 18/5, NO RESPONSE - RECEIVED EMAIL ON 30/5 SAYING MATS ON THE WAY - QUALITY OF MATS RECIEVED WAS POOR AND COLOUR WAS MORE CHARCOAL THAN BLACK AS ORDERED. - RETURNED ON 8/6 AS PER INSTRUCTIONS ON THEIR WEBSITE. CARRIER REPORTED PREMISES VACANT AND UNABLE TO COMPLETE DELIVERY - RECENTLY RECEIVED EMAIL FROM A COMPANY CALLED CARMATS2FIT.CO.UK WHO I HAVE HAD NO PREVIOUS CONTACT WITH. THEY ARE BASED IN PRESTON 10/12 MILES FROM CARMAT CO. IN CHORLEY. THEY ARE NOT A REGISTERED COMPANY PER COMPANIES HOUSE, SAME AS CARMAT CO. WHICH IS SIMPLY A TRADING NAME FOR CREATIVE ESSENTIALS LTD. AS PER CARMAT CO THEIR WEBSITE HAS NO CONTACT DETAILS ON IT (IE PHONE NUMBER, EMAIL ADDRESS). THE TWO COMPANIES WEBSITES ARE VERY SIMILAR. COULD KRIS JOHNSON, THE SOLE DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE ESSENTIALS, HAVE DECIDED TO SET UP OPERATIONS UNDER A DIFFERENT TRADING NAME & LOCATION TO DISTANCE HIMSELF FROM ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS? I'LL LET YOU DECIDE BEFORE PLACING ANY ORDER ON EITHER WEBSITE.

Order placed 10 days ago attempting to contact them via email for 4 days now no reply no sign of my order. Beware I think Ive been scammed.

Appalling company. Still waiting on my order after two weeks. Emailed 3 times requesting where my order is. No reply. Now says theyve blocked my email address. I have been In Touch with my bank. After 15 days I can make official complaint to my bank, Visa Dispute. They will fight to get my money back. Do not go near them at all. Wish Id read the reviews before I made the order.
