      • Indika Edussuriya

        Beautiful cottage run by the owners who are very hospitable. Large and comfortable rooms with ensuite facilities and modern amenities. The food was Michelin star level and cooked by the owners themselves. Near to walking paths and lovely garden to have an afternoon tea. Would be ideal for small party wedding receptions as there's a Cathedral close by as well.

        A beautiful house in nice surroundings but my daughter stayed for 3 nights and felt uncomfortable during her stay. Why? 1. No lock on the room door. 2. No curtain or blind on a clear glass bathroom window. 3. Unable to get a reasonable water temperature to wash hair. 4. No front door key given on arrival and locked out at 9.30pm 5. No evenIng meal available despite being offered on website. 6. Both hosts were accomodating but not really welcoming. A single female should be able to feel secure in a room and had she known the rooms had no lockable door she would have stayed elsewhere.
