Absolute con artist of a man running this business. Cancelled the booking 2 days before check in due to covid tier restrictions(failed to tell us until we contacted him) even though a week before he said he would honour the booking regardless of them being in tier 3. He then failed to refund our deposit even though he agreed to and ignored all calls and messages.

Booked the cottage for a birthday weekend and was highly disappointed. Multiple missing items including robes, baking trays, coffee capsules, bike helmets, whilst the property overall was unclean and unhygienic: - sporadic sewage smell throughout the cottage on both days - an infestation of flies including one that had laid eggs on the dining table - hair in the bath tub plug - dirty mug in the mug rack - no body wash, either in the in-shower dispenser or any separate bottles - broken wiring on staircase - dust and dirt in several places, generally property was unclean including sticky surfaces and hair/dirt on the floor - greasy dirty BBQ which did not ignite - very creaky bed frame (woke us every time we moved) - sunken mattress - hot tub jets closest to left hand fence did not work We spoke to Ian verbally and followed up by email but have never received a response. Very poor service all round. Would not recommend!
