Sussex Aircooled

Took my '67 Beetle to Stuart due to persistent misfiring and he quickly diagnosed the issue and got the car running perfectly again......Its fair to say he really does know aircooled VWs! This was my first visit to Sussex Aircooled and i will definitely return.

I was quite surprised that they couldn't undertake a few simple Jobs on my Vw Beetle considering they are supposed to be specialists

Can always trust Stuart to give excellent professional advice. Sussex AirCooled know these vehicles inside out and will do an excellent job at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend giving them a try. We drive over an hour to take our T25 here and it's worth it.

Took my T2 Bay camper down for a service and some repairs. Couldn't have been better received by Stuart, big smile on his face and extremely friendly manner. I knew that I'd left my little darling in safe and capable hands. Couple of days later got a call saying that all was done, that he had found a few little things that needed tightening up and adjusted but all was now running ship shape. Went down to pick the lady up and upon start I could hear the difference in the motor, and even more so on the drive home. Stuart told me that he had to tighten up the clutch cable and that I should keep an eye on it and replace it in the next year. When I got home I decided to be safe and buy a spare cable, you never know, and just to double check I emailed Stuart asking if the cable was the correct one for the van. He phoned and told me that it wasn't and that he'd be on the look out for the correct one as the major vendors had all sold out. Not only is the level of work at the highest standard but the level of after service care is beyond reproach. If you have a VW camper, old or new, then I would highly recommend Sussex Air Cooled. Couldnt fault Stuart today - lovely chap and a great pleasure discussing services, rusty gutters and interior design with him! He did a full service - minus a couple of bits that didnt need doing which saved me a few quid. He adjusted the timing a little and the engine sounds better than it ever has. He also fixed our sliding door quickly and reasonably. Really pleased. Looking forward to discussing interiors very soon!
