    This company is absolutely useless. We spent over an hour in July going around our home with a representative to quote for quite a few things we needed doing. Despite many failed promises we never even received a quote for the work and it is now October. Unless you like wasting your time and being fed lies take your business elsewhere like we did. Awful service.

    Had an issue with some lights damaged by a water leak, so called Alto (recommended by a friend) who were brilliant, firstly reassuring me that they'd send someone asap. Kyle came round he was lovely, polite, chatty, and sorted the problem out in no time. Kay who took my intial call was super too, so helpful.

    **Beware** Alto's company ethos "...we take our responsibility to our clients very seriously. We would not take this deposit if we did not know we could deliver..." Sadly, they could not deliver...a simple job has turned into a nightmare. Assessment done, photos taken & on the day of the job, I was told the consumer unit was not stable and a reassesment & requote would be needed. Only 2 fluorescent ligths replaced to LED's and the job left unfinished and my deposit of two hundred and fifty nine gone... My follow up calls and emails unanswered. A month and a half has elapsed and excerpts from Kay's response on the 25th Oct "...Coleen didn't feel the urgency of the work...I hope to fully resolve this by the end of the week." A week and a half since that communication and no refund, no quote not a courtsey email to explain the delay, a wall of silence! As a businees unreliable, unprofessional and unethical. I am now in the process of having to start a small court claim to recover my money. I based my choice on reviews but sadly they did not live up to those claims... ***In response To Coleen*** No cherry picking but succinctness... - An assessment properly carried out is to identify potential problems before a job is undertaken, not after... - We live in a day an age where alternative methods of communication are available, you have my number(s)... - A refund for the unfinished work via the original payment card... - All excuses are plausible but unacceptable in a professional business world. Looking for complete closure as we have been too long in a state of limbo. Service: Electrical fixture installation
