Partridge Nest Pods and Cottage

Arrived here by accident due to a satnav problem, whilst I was calling a colleague for directions I was shouted at on my arrival and before I could explain what had happened or ask directions was asked if I was 'foreign' as I was 'clearly not from here' and was told to 'get off her drive way'. I apologised for the mix up but the owner continued to stand over me and stare until I left. Due to this experience alone I dread to think what kind of serive you would receive here as this was an innocent mistake. I'm utterly shocked at the behaviour of the owner and would certainly not advise anyone to stay here despite the beautiful landscape.

We had a great stay in a pod on our Coast to Coast walk. It can be difficult to find accommodation in Grosmont, and Partridge Nest is worth the extra miles of walking to get there. Caroline is so nice and welcoming. The pods and other facilities are immaculately clean. This was also the most luxurious shower of our entire walk. The pods are in a really beautiful spot, too!
